Edinburgh International Festival_

The Edinburgh International Festival required web hosting and Internet service provision. Lumison showed an in-depth understanding of the festival, our business processes and what we wanted to achieve. Lumison set up web and database servers and a fully manage all the security to protect this infrastructure. It was able to accurately tailor a solution to our needs, providing extra resilience, load balancing web servers, installing an n-tier firewall, hosting architecture and delivering clustered databases with live replication. On top of that Lumison provided an integrated service over a network from its datacentre, delivering it to the box office platform at the festival hub.

Lumison ensured a smooth transition from our previous hosting site, and presented cost effective Internet access, which enabled us to provide box office services at our venues during the Festival. It delivered a relatively straightforward solution compared to previous hosting arrangements, and even offered extra input and advice. It was really involved, and exceeded our expectations in every department. We are very much hoping to continue our relationship with Lumison for future festivals.
