Lumison Carbon Reduction Plan 2009/2010_

Highlights and discussion points raised include:

• Detailed review of actions Lumison are taking to reduce CO2 footprint in absolute terms
• Setting of aggressive targets for CO2 reduction of almost 10% for this accounting year (to September 2010)
• Lumison was above threshold for the UK government's Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) in 2009,  and so we have invested in reduction commitments both on an ethical trading basis, and for the fact that we must comply in 2009/10
• On the basis of current consumption Lumison did not need to buy carbon credits in the first round during 2010, but is likely to need to do so and so this plan ensures our preparedness for that process
• Notes on future opportunities for efficiency designed in for new dataroom / facility builds
